HITS Ocala Winter Circuit Brings Week II to a Close
The HITS Ocala Winter Circuit has wrapped up for Week II at HITS Post Time Farm in Ocala, Florida, with much success in both the Hunter and Jumper rings. With extremely competitive riders and horses, Week II proved to be exciting for all involved. The Ocala Horse Properties Stadium started off strong on Wednesday with Tracy Magness taking home the blue ribbon in the $5,000 Johnson Horse Transportation Open Welcome aboard INTENZ VAN HD with a jump-off time of 33.762. Close behind her, Lisa Goldman took home both the second and third place ribbons aboard SOVEREIGN and CENTURION B, respectively. Goldman and SOVEREIGN had a jump-off time of 34.029, where she and CENTURION B had a jump-off time of 34.145. Fourth place was earned by David Jennings aboard LASCO 29 with a jump-off time of 34.747 and Devin Ryan rounded out the top five aboard FLORIDA with a jump off-time of 35.097. On Thursday, Devin Ryan came back from his fifth place ride on Wednesday, to win the $25,000 SmartPak Grand Prix, this time aboard EDDIE BLUE with a jump-off time of 39.378. Daniel Geitner took home second place honors aboard VESTA DE LAVARDIN with a jump-off time of 41.656. Tracy Fenney had both the third and fifth place rides aboard IGOR VAN DE HEIBOS and MTM COMO NO with a jump-off time of 44.104 and a four-fault jump-off time of 41.230, respectively. Fourth place was awarded to Dorothy Douglas aboard S & L ELITE with a jump-off time of 44.127.
