Showplace Spring Classic II Comes to and End
Week II of HITS Chicago brought blue ribbons to many at HITS Balmoral Park as the Showplace Spring Classic Series continued. On Wednesday, Bryn Sadler jumped to the top of the placings, taking the win in the $5,000 Johnson Horse Transportation Open Welcome aboard CEZARRO in a speedy jump-off time of 36.675. In second place was MacKenzie Snider and SKARA GLEN'S BASEL in a four-fault jump-off time of 35.416. Third was Lauren Hester aboard WARINDE B in a four-fault jump-off time of 35.980. In fourth place was Nick Novak and CLASSIC ROC in a four-fault jump-off time of 36.400 and fifth was Lisa Goldman with her mount HIT ME VAN'T ZORGVLIET.
On Thursday, Isabella Baxter brought her A-game for Week II, winning the $5,000 KindredBio Open Jumper Prix aboard CAROQUADOS T and taking second place aboard JAHIL in jump-off times of 34.816 and 35.733, respectively. Goldman took third place aboard NIKE in a jump-off time of 37.142 and fourth was Hannah Bilton and ELAN with a jump-off time of 38.022. Rounding out the top five was Taylor McMurtry and CONDERO 3 in a jump-off time of 41.693.
