Catch up on the action at Ocala Masters!

MTM Farm riders Tracy Fenney and Brian Moggre dominate HITS Ocala VI!
Week VI of the HITS Ocala Winter Circuit kicked off Tuesday with featured classes for both competitive hunter and jumpers. The $50,000 KindredBio Grand Prix was the highlight of the week boasting a wonderful performance of athleticism for all to watch. 
The $5,000 Johnson Horse Transportation Open Welcome was the first highlighted class of the week. Starting the week off right and taking home top honors was Derek Petersen aboard DIAMANT'S LEGACY. The pair finished with a time of 38.164 to take home the blue ribbon.
  • 2nd Place: Kirk Webby & BRANDO DU ROUET (38.405)
  • 3rd Place: Morgan Ward & DANTURA (39.194)
Devin Ryan had a three second lead in the jump-off of the $25,000 SmartPak Grand Prix to claim top honors on Friday. He rode COOPER to a time of 45.498 to seal the win. 
  • 2nd Place: Seth Vallhonrat & CLARIMA (48.646) 
  • 3rd Place: Lisa Goldman-Smolen & AS DI SOGRAND (51.990)
Brian Moggre moved into second place in the race for the KindredBio leading rider award, second only to Goldman-Smolen, as he took home the blue ribbon in the $10,000 KindredBio Open Prix. He was aboard MTM LOS ANGELES and finished with a time of 44.639.
  • 2nd Place: David Raposa & ILIONA (45.115) 
  • 3rd Place: Tracy Fenney & MTM APPLE  (45.211)
Moggre took another victory lap later in the week, this time taking the winning round in the $10,000 1.35m Classic. He rode MTM FLUTTERBY to an impressive jump off time of 35.071 to edge out his two barn mates. 
  • 2nd Place: Fenney & MTM APPLE (38.425)
  • 3rd Place: Dorothy Douglas & MTM CHELSEA (39.720)
Melissa Deryn Foster took home the win in the $2,500 Pyranha Junior 1.25m Jumper Classic, aboard CONTE COULEUR. 

The winners of the $2,500 Pyranha A-O/Am 1.25m Jumper Classic were Casey Millis and her own PLAYBOY BLUE VH Z.

Kyle Perkovich and ROSCALLA won the $5,000 Summit Joint Performance Junior 1.35m Jumper Classic.

The winning round in the $5,000 Summit Joint Performance A-O/Am 1.35m Jumper Classic went to Ashley Foster riding CAPELLA. 

The $7,500 U-Dump Jr/A-O/Am 1.45m Jumper Classic had a tough field, but Keely McIntosh came out the winner aboard INNE VAN DE PLATAAN. 
The $50,000 KindredBio Grand Prix concluded the high performance jumper classes for Week VI. With close times for the two riders in the jump off, Fenney emerged the winner. She rode IGOR VAN DE HEIBOS across the timers in 38.532 to clinch the blue ribbon. 
  • 2nd Place: Vallhonrat & CLARIMA (40.249) 
  • 3rd Place: Andre Thieme & CUPERTINO 
Each Saturday afternoon, the Stadium is transformed into a heaven for hunters, hosting the $1,500 Platinum Performance and $5,000 Devoucoux Hunter Prix.

The $1,500 Platinum Performance Hunter Prix kicked-off with a field of 25 riders aiming for the winning score. Aliya Maker and CHESTNUT HILL came out on top to take home the blue ribbon. Maker scored an 85 in the first round followed by an 84 in the second round, giving the pair an overall score of 169 to take the lead. 
  • 2nd Place: Cara McFadden & CINTAS (163)
  • 3rd Place: Mercy Paine & VERSACE (158)
The $5,000 Devoucoux Hunter Prix was a great treat for spectators to watch this week. Pulling ahead of the pack by 4.5 points to take the lead was Cassandra Kahle and GARSINO. This amazing pair scored an 89 in the first round of the competition, followed by an 84.5 in the second round, bringing their overall score to a 173.5 to seal the win!
  • 2nd Place: Caitlyn Shiels & CASSIUS (169)
  • 3rd Place: Douglas & S&L LION KING (168)
