Joseph Norick Joins HITS Shows as Chief Customer Officer

Saugerties, N.Y. – October 26, 2022 – HITS Shows, an industry leader and the largest producer of hunter/jumper horse shows in the United States, welcomes Joseph “Joe” Norick as its new Chief Customer Officer.   This new role will allow Norick the opportunity to focus on client needs and the overall customer experience at each of its world-class competitions. Norick’s addition is reflective of the consumer-oriented philosophy employed by Traub Capital Partners, the owners of HITS.  HITS is dedicated to making continued improvements to all six venues, as well as elevating the level of service and experience for the exhibitors.

As Chief Customer Officer at HITS, Norick will lead its renewed focus on creating positive experiences for both the horses and riders.   “Equestrian sports are constantly evolving, and I am looking forward to working with the HITS team to exceed expectations of all of our exhibitors,” said Norick.  “My vision to enhance our facilities includes improving the drainage and footing in our competition areas, as well as upgrading our amenities, such as food services, exhibitor hospitality locations, and even restrooms. We will be working to create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere at every HITS venue for every HITS customer.”

As a lifelong equestrian, Norick began his career under the training of the legendary Ralph Caristo and his Glenview Stables in Glen Head, NY. He continued his education at Foxfield Riding Club in Westlake Village, CA and Sam and Libby Edelman’s S&L Farms in North Salem, NY and Wellington, FL.  His continued development in the sport was instrumental in establishing a thriving horse sales business.   In the early 2000’s he launched a career in the equine insurance business.  He presently oversees a portfolio of Farm & Ranch properties, Equine Mortality and High Net Worth clients for Alliant Private Client, where he will continue to serve as an advisor.

"We are excited to partner with Joe, a clear thought leader in the equestrian world,” said Geoff Lurie, HITS Interim-CEO and Managing Partner of Traub Capital Partners. “Joe’s long history and expertise in the industry, coupled with his dedication to customer experience, align with our philosophy and approach. We look forward to his contributions in helping the HITS team elevate the company’s position in the equestrian world.”

Norick will continue to reside in Florida and New York with his wife, Sydney and his three daughters.
