Coming to HITS Culpeper for 2023…

Culpeper, Va. – February 17, 2023 – The 2023 spring show season is just a few months away, and a complete makeover of HITS Culpeper is already underway! The show rings at Commonwealth National Park are being revamped with a brand-new surface and new drainage. The entire facility will be renovated, including the restaurant and the horse show office, as the new era of HITS continues to revitalize each of our venues.

“We value each of our customers at HITS Culpeper and recognize the need to breathe new life into the Commonwealth Horse Park,” said Chief Customer Officer Joe Norick. “HITS has a three-year plan to revitalize all of our venues, and for HITS Culpeper we knew that we needed to start with new footing. We look forward to showcasing the work that is underway in the coming weeks as we prepare to welcome horses back in April.”

The 2023 HITS Culpeper prize list and show entries are now available online. Enjoy seven weeks of USEF-Rated competition with classes for every level of rider, including USHJA National Hunter Derbies, USHJA Pony Hunter Derbies, Hunter and Pony Hunter Breeding and a new Channel II horse show in June. Whether it's one week or all seven, we're excited for you to join us at the historic Commonwealth Park!

Commonwealth Park is settled on over 100 acres in beautiful Central Virginia, where traditional charm meets the modern show experience at HITS Culpeper. With 500 spacious 12' x 12' permanent stalls, six competition rings, and ample lunging and riding areas, to beautiful tree-lined, shaded spaces for grazing, hand-walking or just enjoying the scenery, HITS Culpeper offers horse-friendly comfort and top show management, with competition for every level of rider.
