Golf Cart Drive-In Movie Night
Exhibitors will be able to pull their golf-carts into the covered arena on Thursday night for the return on the popular Golf Cart drive-in Movie Night. The show starts at 6 pm, so don't forget your popcorn!
A special performance by the “World's Smartest Horse”

Joie Gatlin Training Stables Beach Volleyball Tournament
Joie Gatlin and Morley Abbey are coming back to HITS Thermal for another year, and according to the couple, they are excited to sponsor another Beach Volleyball Tournament in the Grand Prix Ring on the Monday between Desert Circuit I and Desert Circuit II. Teams of four will compete in a double-elimination tournament and shoot it out for the perpetual trophy, sponsored by Joie and Morley. To sign-up, please see Chris Mayone in the horse show office.

HITS Desert Circuit Annual Golf Tournament at Bermuda Dunes Country Club
Bragging rights will be up for grabs again when the annual golf event returns to the HITS Desert Circuit at the luxurious Bermuda Dunes Country Club. The golf course at Bermuda Dunes Country Club is one of the finest golfing experiences that California has to offer. Having the longest running involvement in a major tournament, Bermuda Dunes has been involved in the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic since it began in 1960. It has been home to world-renowned celebrities such as Clark Gable and Arnold Palmer, who both lived in the Bermuda Dunes community. HITS is rolling out the red carpet for Coachella Valley native Dr. Raul Ruiz when Fiesta Day returns to the HITS Desert Horse Park from noon until 2 pm., Sunday, February 28, 2010. CHILDREN UNDER 12 ARE FREE!
This year's event salutes the Hispanic heritage in the Coachella Valley during a day of family fun that will coincide with the $25,000 Purina Mills Grand Prix, presented by Pfizer Animal Health. Hollywoodtrick rider and roper, Ramon Becerra will be the headline performer and there will be music, dancing and Mexican food. Guest of honor, Dr. Raul Ruiz, was born in Coachella and funded his way to UCLA, thanks in large part to the community that stood behind him. He moved on to Harvard Medical School. After his medical studies, he returned home to his roots and fulfilled a promise to the community that supported him and now works in the Emergency Room at Eisenhower Medical Center in La Quinta.

All of the marbles will be up for grabs when some of the top equestrians in the world compete for their share of the enormous $300,000 that will be on the line during the final day of competition at the HITS Desert Horse Park in 2010. This magical day will also feature the presentation of the Grand Circuit Champion Awards during the ever-popular Parade of Champions in the festive Grand Prix Ring at the HITS Desert Horse Park before the talented field of Grand Prix Riders takes aim at the course.
