SAUGERTIES, NY (May 8, 2012) — HITS is pleased to announce Stacie Flint as its cover artist for the 2012 HITS Saugerties Official Show Program.
Flint’s complex and colorful oil paintings and illustrations have been exhibited and published throughout the United States and Europe. Aside from national and global appeal, her work is also showcased on a local level as her work has been featured on the cover of The Community Guide, Chronogram and The Valley Table Magazine. She is also involved with the Women’s Studio Workshop in Rosendale, New York.
“I am very excited to be on the cover of HITS. It’s a perfect venue and a great way to show off my work to the local community and members of the horse world,” said Flint. “In my painting for HITS there is a girl grooming a horse and texting. It reminds me of my teenage daughters.”
Born in Long Island, Flint studied at the State University of New York colleges at New Paltz and Empire State. She currently lives in the mid-Hudson Valley in New Paltz, New York and is represented by Gallery on the Green in Pawling, New York.
“Stacie Flint is a well-known and respected artist in the community,” said HITS Art Director Leslie Phillips. “Adding her touch to the Official Show Program this year will make a very special piece for both exhibitors and spectators.”

The 2012 HITS Saugerties Official Show Program is available during the spring and summer horse shows at HITS Saugerties and features several compelling reads, including articles on the Marshall & Sterling League, an interview with Heritage Farm’s Andre Dignelli, scenes from the 2012 winter circuits in Ocala, Florida and much more.
The HITS Saugerties Spring Circuit is right around the corner and runs for three consecutive weeks starting Wednesday, May 23. The spring series will offer the first series of qualifiers for the Pfizer $1 Million Grand Prix, Diamond Mills $500,000 Hunter Prix Final and the HITS $250,000 Hunter Prix Final
