The Marshall & Sterling League was created to enhance the level of competition for child and adult riders and provide them with a chance to qualify for a national championship. After two decades of commitment to the sport, the League is a house-hold name in the equestrian industry since its humble beginnings with 4 divisions, 100 members and 10 member shows. Today, 14 different divisions are represented and horse show membership is at an all-time high with over 2,300 members. As riders coast-to-coast earn points throughout the year, they eagerly anticipate a spot at the Marshall & Sterling League National Finals which is held every year at HITS-on-the-Hudson in Saugerties, New York. The 2012 Finals are set to take place September 12-16.
The 2012 qualifying period for the Marshall & Sterling National League Finals is August 29, 2011 – August 26, 2012. With the start of the 2012 winter show season upon us, it's a perfect time to become a member of the Marshall & Sterling League and start earning points to qualify for the National League Finals.
