SAUGERTIES, NY (January 4, 2012) —HITS, Inc. is once again proud to name Farnam as the Official Fly Control Product for all HITS horse shows and the title sponsor of the Farnam Adult Medal. For the second consecutive year,Farnam will award the Farnam Adult Medal National Championship at the Marshall & Sterling League National Finals this September.
Aside from being offered at all HITS shows, the Farnam Adult Medal will also be offered at select Marshall & Sterling League member shows which include more than 1,300 horse shows across the country. In 2011, more than 200 riders attempted to qualify for the Farnam Adult Medal Finals. The top 41 competed in the Farnam Adult Medal National Championship Finals and it was Elysse Ruschmeyer aboard her own Arktis whocaptured the national title. Farnam will also once again crown the Farnam Best Adult Rider Award at this year’s Marshall & Sterling League National Finals. In 2011, Julia Kusnick of Brooklyn, New York was presented with the award after her impressive showing at the Marshall & Sterling League National Finals aboard her own This Ocala.
