SAUGERTIES,
NY (May 7, 2010) — The Devoucoux Hunter Derby, a division
of the Marshall & Sterling League, has had a tremendous impact
on the hunter landscape this year at HITS Ocala, HITS Thermal
and HITS Culpeper. As the two-round event promises to be one of
the most popular classes at HITS Saugerties, the Devoucoux Hunter
Derby will be featured at several participating Marshall & Sterling
League Horse Shows throughout the summer to give riders an opportunity
to earn fabulous prize money and earn Marshall & Sterling League
points.
The 3'3" Devoucoux Hunter Derby offers a prestigious element to
the hunter division at any horse show, which allows the junior,
amateur and professional ranks the opportunity to compete.
"We're extremely pleased to have invited a great selection of
horse shows to host this popular event," said Kristen Vale, HITS
Horse Show Office Manager. "Each of these horse shows represents
a great blend of competition and experience for exhibitors. It's
vital that with their support, this exciting division will have
more opportunities to flourish."
"The Marshall & Sterling League was founded on giving riders an
opportunity to have a year-end goal," said Patti Guerriero, Marshall
& Sterling League Coordinator. "As an event like this continues
to grow in demand, exhibitors will continue to have more opportunities
to earn points and work towards that goal. The Marshall & Sterling
League members are thrilled that this event has found a home with
us."

and HITS Culpeper shows this summer, as well as at these Marshall
