SAUGERTIES, NY (May 5, 2009)—HITS is proud to announce that Le Canard Enchainé will host a fabulous High-Performance Riders' dinner and sponsor reception at its Uptown Kingston restaurant on Saturday evening, June 6.
Le Canard Enchainé Restaurant opened in 1995 and was immediately recognized not only as one of the best French restaurants in the region, but as one of the best restaurants regardless of genre. Owner/Head Chef, Jean-Jacques Carquillat acquired his culinary skills in France and has received countless accolades for his technique and food from renowned food critics including Zagat, The New York Times, Hudson Valley Magazine and The Wine Connoisseur Magazine.
The by-invitation-only party will begin at 6 pm and will feature a variety of splendid foods, as well as an open bar. "It is only right to welcome the best show jumping riders and well regarded sponsors of HITS to the best restaurant in the Hudson Valley! Le Canard Enchainé is a perfect choice as a partner for this event. They have fantastic food, charming European space and are conveniently located near several of our hotel partners in Kingston, "said HITS' Account Executive for Corporate Sponsorship Lisa Engel.
"HITS is number one in the world when it comes to horse shows," said Carquillat. "When these top riders come to HITS this spring, we will be honored to host a party to welcome them to the Hudson Valley and celebrate another successful show season."
While the High-Performance Riders' Dinner and Sponsor Reception is an invitation-only event, all exhibitors can get a taste of the fine food Le Canard Enchainé Restaurant has to offer during the annual Taste-of-HITS event that will take place on Saturday, May 30. Restaurants from the surrounding area will be on-site throughout the afternoon, offering samples from their sumptuous and varied menus.
High-Performance riders should contact Lisa Engel at lisa@hitsshows.com to receive an invitation to the June 6 reception and dinner party.
