OCALA, FL (December 19, 2007)--Experience Golden Ocala's tranquil beauty and award winning golf course design when the first-annual HITS Ocala Golf Tournament takes center stage at the Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club on Monday, March 3.
The golf course replicates layouts from Augusta National and Scottish link courses including Royal Troon and St. Andrews. Towering pines outlining deep green grass, sugar white sand traps, paved paths and impeccable attention to every detail make Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club's golf facility unsurpassed in the state of Florida.
A 9 am shotgun start will be followed by a luncheon reception at the exclusive Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Clubhouse. Applications will be available in the Horse Show Office and the VIP tent. For more information contact Lisa Engel at 908.310.6248 or e-mail Lisa@HitsShows.com.
All the bad swings from the tournament will be corrected on Friday, March 7 from 12-12:30 pm during the
HITS Ocala Golf Swing Clinic at the HITS Restaurant. The clinic will cover the basic fundamentals and will be conducted by Golden Ocala's Head Golf Professional Jay Kragh and Golf Director Mike Cooney. The Clinic will be followed by a question and answer session. Both right and left-handed clubs will be available to participants. Complimentary logo balls and yardage books will be distributed as well.
Also on Friday, March 7, Golden Ocala will be providing a Spa Experience at the HITS Restaurant from noon until 2 pm. The Spa Experience will help to strengthen your muscles and improve your riding ability through personal fitness training. Overcome rounded shoulders, weak lower legs and achieve a deep seat through personal fitness. Two fitness instructors and two massage therapists will demonstrate fitness strengthening exercises and massage modalities specific to fitness conditioning, as well as aroma therapy oils for stress reduction.
