SAUGERTIES, NY (July
24, 2006) — HITS Saugerties, the world-class equestrian
facility in Saugerties, NY, invites everyone to
indulge in a sampling of some fine desserts, when
Sweets of The Hudson Valley, presented by Stella's
Station, makes its debut at the horse show this
weekend.
Before you enjoy
the tasty treats, you can take a stroll to see
the thrilling sporting action of show jumping
taking place in multiple rings throughout the
Washinton Avenue facility. Spectators can also
shop at two permanent vendor buildings and the
more traditional Vendor Courtyard that form the
HITS Saugerties Mall that features clothing, tack,
fine jewelry, custom footwear, art, photography,
souvenirs and an ice cream parlor, serving Starbucks
Coffee with wireless Internet access.
Sweets of The
Hudson Valley, presented by Stella's Station,
will take place Saturday, July 29 from noon
- 2PM. Admission is just $5 for adults and kids
are free, with all admission proceeds going directly
to
Family
of Woodstock. To coincide with Saturday's
event. Stella's Station will host a horse show
party Saturday night with drink specials from
8 PM - 10 PM.. Stella's Station is located at
150 Partition Street, in Saugerties, and is open
daily until at least 10 PM and features ice cream,
cocktails and a grill with an outside patio and
bar.
