SAUGERTIES-The horse
shows that bring $50 Million to the surrounding
area's economy are coming back to town! Beginning
July 19 at HITS' facility on Washington Avenue,
three consecutive weeks of equestrian competition
will include Olympic-level show jumping and a weekly
$75,000 Grand Prix every Sunday at HITS Saugerties'
Summer Circuit.
When those three
weeks are up, HITS still isn't done in Saugerties.
There will be another week of show jumping the
first week of September and horse show competition
will culminate in Saugerties with the Marshall
& Sterling League Finals, September 14-17.
HITS concluded its Spring Circuit in early June.
HITS encourages families
to visit the show grounds, as kids are admitted
free and adult admission is just $5 on weekends,
with all admission proceeds going directly to
Family of Woodstock, HITS' Official Charity for
the third consecutive year.
Breathtaking show
jumping, combined with the special event HITS
features each weekend during the horse shows make
for an enjoyable day for spectators of all ages.
