HOURS: Wednesday through Sunday, 8am to approximately 5pm

CLASSES: Approximately 250 classes are held each week including a $25,000 Open Jumper Challenge on Thursdays and a Grand Prix class on Sundays.

DIRECTIONS:
From NY Thruway Exit 20 (southbound): Exit tollbooth and and make a right onto Route 32. Continue for 2 miles to Old Kings Highway, bear right. At the stop sign of the 4-way intersection of Old Kings Highway and Malden Turnpike (CR 34) make a right. Continue on Malden Turnpike (CR 34) to the stop sign at the intersection with Route 9W. Make a right, heading south, on 9W to Mike Krout Road (this is the next road on the right, approx. 1 mile). Make a right onto Mike Krout Road. The entrance to the showgrounds is the second driveway on your left.

From NY Thruway Exit 20 (northbound): Exit tollbooth and make a left onto Route 212/Route 32. Get into the right hand lane and bear right onto Route 32 just before the traffic light. Follow the remaining directions above.

PARKING: Parking is free Wednesday through Sunday.

ADMISSION: No admission charge Wednesday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday admission is $5 per person, children 12 and under are free. Admission proceeds benefit Family of Woodstock.

SHOW GROUNDS: Located on over 200 acres, HITS-ON-THE-Hudson features ten permanent all-weather hunter, jumper, and equitation rings, a Grand Prix Amphitheater, a Grand Hunter Amphitheater, a permanent VIP Pavilion overlooking both Amphitheaters, two food service facilities, and up to 2,500 stalls.

ATTENDANCE: Per week - 1,500 to 2,500 horses and 3,000 to 5,000 horsemen.

PRIZE MONEY: Over $1,000,000 total for the seven horse shows.

FOOD: Centrally located on the show grounds, two HITS food service facilities offer a diverse international menu of meals, snacks, and beverages.

SHOPPING: Two permanent vendor buildings and a more traditional Vendor Courtyard form the HITS-ON-THE-Hudson Mall which features clothing, tack, fine jewelry, custom footwear, art, photography, souvenirs and an internet cafe.

IN BRIEF: The HITS-ON-THE-Hudson Circuit Saugerties, New York, runs from May to September. Set amidst the beautiful and historic Catskill Mountains and the Hudson River Valley, this circuit is produced at HITS' newest equestrian facility, which features an amphitheater containing the Grand Prix Ring and a Feature Hunter Ring, 1,100 permanent stalls, and permanent buildings housing offices, food concession, rest rooms and equestrian retail shops.

ECONOMIC IMPACT: The surrounding communities enjoy an economic impact of more than $50 million as a result of the seven shows.

CHARITIES: Family of Woodstock will be the "Official Charity" of the HITS-ON-THE-Hudson circuit and will receive 100% of the proceeds of the gate from the seven shows.
